While Florian tries to cram all his essentials in his suitcase bound for Manila, I on the other hand, try to make space for him in my cubby hole which I call my "home" office. After having removed some furniture, my mother goes "You don't like this table anymore?" and I answer, Ma, Florian's not going to fit." And she replies, " Is he that big?". And to myself I answer, "I guess so."
So I have a few tasks left that i need to finish before Mr. Essig here arrives. That includes finsihing my pd task list, stocking up on toilet paper and food for this German and making sure the house is on wifi and that he has clean sheets, a clean room and a clean bathroom. But I haven't broken the news to him that our house does not have hot water.
I like leaving. And I like arriving. I hate to be on the receiving end. And it is to my dismay that I've got a couple more days to go to twiddle my toes before I pick up Essig at the airport. There's a checklist for the first day, and I plan on showing him the famous Manila Sunset and have him gorge on good old Seafood by the bay.
So three days to go and the Lässig team is reunited once again.
Yay!

Creative Packing
Well, first post of Lässig-team-member number two.
I got no pictures so far, but after 4 hours of thinking about our password, I would say, that I AM THE MAN!!! HAHAHAHA. Right, Trinka?!
Okay, I have to admit, that I found the account-confirmation with our password in my mailbox. HAHAHA. So: Man muss nicht intelligent sein, sondern nur wissen wo man suchen muss. YAY!
Due to the fact, that my team-member is sleeping I have to pack things on my own, which is pretty stupid, because I am not very talented in that. Yesterday, I stopped the packing progress after 2 books and a sunglasses, so I guess today I have to catch up on that.
Though, my packing-basic is: money, sunglasses, keys, passport and tickets... So, as long as I bring that, I should be able to survive in any part of the world.
It's just interesting, how I fail on packing systematically every "holiday" again, even though it is my goal since years to be the perfect packer (is this correct english? - I guess not...). Whatever. I even made a checklist a few years ago, but I think chaotic last-minute-packing is the way Lässig works. But that's creativity, for sure! No adventure, without creativity...HEHE
And: Instead of doing some packing and planning now, I am writing this blog and chill, so I guess I'll start my journey with two books a sunglasses and an empty plastic bag. This has advantages of course: No check-in of luggage... No problems with baggage-weight-restrictions. No problems at the customs... hmmmmmmm... Considering my basic-packing-rule I should at least bring my passport and some money...
Well, I think it's nice to end this post with a Manila-resolution:
- adventure
- food
- music
- thesis movie
- great time
- party
- nice people
- new impressions
- culture
ehhh....to be continued
